O Governo do Distrito Federal (GDF) anunciou uma nova medida que visa fortalecer o setor produtivo. O GDF vai isentar as taxas públicas de uso e ocupação de áreas públicas do Distrito Federal, beneficiando mais de 5.300 micro e pequenos empresários. A iniciativa, que vigorará de abril a dezembro de 2022, representa um importante apoio a feiras, quiosques, trailers, bancas de jornais, camelôs e food trucks.
A decisão de quitar as taxas públicas é um gesto de apoio aos trabalhadores do setor produtivo e busca dinamizar a economia e minimizar os impactos negativos do período pós-pandemia. Esses trabalhadores enfrentaram desafios econômicos, incluindo o fechamento de seus negócios durante a pandemia. O governador Ibaneis Rocha assinou a medida, abrindo mão de arrecadar cerca de R$ 8,5 milhões no período estipulado.
O governador Ibaneis Rocha agradeceu a multidão reunida no Palácio do Buriti, composta principalmente por feirantes. “Não é segredo que sou apaixonada por feiras. Visito quase sempre, gosto de comer nelas e adoro fazer minhas compras lá. Nessas visitas, ouvimos as demandas dos feirantes. Vamos continuar investindo para melhorar o seu vive ainda mais”, afirmou o governador Ibaneis Rocha.
A medida beneficia principalmente feirantes e donos de quiosques, mas abrange também donos de trailers, bancas de jornais, vendedores ambulantes, food trucks, além de ocupantes de barracas e quiosques em galerias, shoppings populares, terminais rodoviários e estações de metrô. Em geral, trata-se de empresas familiares ou microempreendedores individuais com capital de giro limitado para sustentar suas atividades econômicas, destacando o compromisso do governo em apoiá-los.

O compromisso do governo com o apoio aos mercados fica evidente com o investimento de aproximadamente R$ 30 milhões na reforma desses espaços, além de destinar R$ 20 milhões para a construção de novos mercados.
Desde 2019, o GDF concedeu mais de duas mil autorizações de uso, representando 20% de todas as ocupações regularizadas no Distrito Federal. Nesse período, também foram catalogadas 1.200 barracas. Este esforço concertado contribui para o fortalecimento dos mercados. “Trata-se de um esforço conjunto que surgiu das visitas do governador aos mercados, que são locais de que ele mais gosta. Mais uma vez se faz justiça a esses profissionais”, explicou José Humberto Pires de Araújo, secretário de Governo.
