Em todo o Distrito Federal, há 38 feiras permanentes. Desde 2019, o Governo do Distrito Federal (GDF) já destinou mais de R$ 23 milhões para reformas e manutenções de feiras no DF. Investir nesses equipamentos públicos que fomentam a economia local é uma das prioridades do governo.
Além de oferecer alimentos de qualidade cultivados por produtores rurais da região, as feiras do Distrito Federal atuam como ponto de lazer para a população. A servidora pública Célia Miyajima, 52 anos, bate ponto toda semana na Feira Permanente do Cruzeiro. “Eu venho aqui principalmente quando quero algo com uma qualidade melhor, um produto diferenciado. Compro ovos caipiras, queijo, castanhas, mandioca, frutas”, comentou.
Já Cleide Meireles, 44 anos, é feirante no espaço há mais de 20 anos. Tem o próprio negócio e revela que o sucesso da loja dela é devido aos serviços diferenciados ofertados à clientela. “Eu sempre busco novidades. Uma delas é o serviço de delivery. A ideia é que a gente visite todas as feiras do DF para estarmos corpo a corpo detectando as principais demandas para que a gente possa resolver em menor tempo possível. A mais recente entrega foi em março deste ano, com a conclusão das reformas na Feira Permanente do Núcleo Bandeirante, na Praça Central da cidade. Lá, o governo investiu aproximadamente R$ 10 milhões para fazer a reconstrução completa do espaço, que abriga mais de 100 feirantes.
